Hydrangea is derived from Greek and means ‘water vessel’ in reference to the shape of its seed capsules. For this painting, just for fun, I chose the title based on the names given by the nail polish Essie for a shade similar to the one we have here.
Typically the flowerheads contain two types of flowers: small non-showy flowers in the center or interior of the flowerhead, and large, showy flowers with large colourful sepals and I made these the focus of my painting.
One of the photos shows how it would look with a pass-partout although it was a make shift one, just to give you an idea.
I’ll send this painting in a reinforced envelope using the French Post with a tracking number

About this artwork: Classification, Techniques & Styles
Watercolor
Watercolor is a painting in which gum arabic binds transparent pigments revealing the support of the painting. The gouache, of identical composition, is opaque. A watercolor is a water-based painting on paper. We rarely speak of a painting for a work painted in watercolor. Watercolor paintings are considered to be a unique way to creatively represent dreams, illusions, emotions and luminous feelings using water soluble pigments. However, painting with watercolors can be difficult. It’s a difficult medium to master, in large part because it can be ruthless and unpredictable. Mistakes are difficult to correct and its fluid nature makes it difficult to control. Yet it is these very qualities that give the medium its undeniable charm.
Figurative
Figurative and colorful painting having taken the liberty of including all forms of art without border of cultural genre and geographic origin, without hierarchy of values between high and subculture.Technic Painting

Painters represent a very personal expression on supports such as paper, rock, canvas, wood, bark, glass, concrete and many other substrates.Work of representation or invention, painting can be naturalistic and figurative, or abstract.
