(“Is there still a hope for them?”)
This landscape sculpture pictures an imaginary “lost” location and it’s a result of the passion for old maps and atlases, with a pinch of sadness that we’re running out of such undiscovered places on Earth.
This landform imagine such remote, little-known location that explorers are dreaming about. On the map, which guides through the terrain, I am giving just a hint: height of the peak or the bay’s name. I believe that the viewer will know the rest of the story himself.
Sculpture is made of clay and resin, and placed on a wood base. Each landscape is one of a kind and comes together with a hand-drawn ink map, for orientation and safety of the explorer.
Landscape can be displayed with or without the included glass dome.
Included map – ink drawing on paper, is signed. It has dimensions 5-inch x 7 inches and can be framed by the buyer.
