I chose to make the PUPPET SERIES because I’m very interested in this character, he inspires me tranquillity, freedom, sinerity. In my work, I capture the interpretation of his face without identity, which is characteristic of my characters. The puppet transmits feelings and childhood memories, this character accompanies us throughout time, generation after generation.
Focusing the process of the work on his clothing, I try to capture in the character that mystery and charm that surrounds him, the information that he transmits without saying anything, only with gestures, leads me to the imagination of working the collage with different recycled materials that give volume to the work. Among these materials are: the strings with which it comes to life, paper and cardboard.
The works are made by applying a mixed technique and collage on a canvas or wood base.
